Evergreen Endo Group is a root canal specialty practice with offices in Coquitlam and East Vancouver. Four certified endodontists, surgical microscopes on every case, and a team that has been relieving dental pain for over 40 years.
Most patients come to us referred by their dentist. Either way, the path is simple and we move quickly for anyone in discomfort.
Tap the number for the office nearest you. Urgent pain cases are prioritised, usually within the week. Your dentist can also send a referral online in under two minutes.
We examine the tooth, take digital x-rays and, when needed, a low-dose CBCT scan to see the root anatomy in three dimensions before anything is decided.
Most root canals are completed in one comfortable visit. You go home with clear aftercare, and your dentist gets a full report the same day.
Endodontists complete dental school plus two or more years of specialty training focused entirely on the inside of the tooth. It is all we do, which is why dentists send us their most complex cases.
Removes infected pulp, cleans and seals the canals, and keeps your natural tooth. Typically one visit, comfortable throughout.
When a previous root canal has not healed or becomes reinfected, we reopen, disinfect and reseal it rather than losing the tooth.
Microsurgical removal of the root tip and surrounding infection when conventional treatment cannot reach the problem.
Early diagnosis matters. Under magnification we find fractures that x-rays miss and advise whether the tooth can be saved.
Knocked out, loosened or fractured teeth from sports or accidents. Prompt care gives the best chance of keeping the tooth.
Facial or tooth pain that has stumped other clinicians. Endodontists are trained to locate the true source before treating.
Every doctor here is a certified endodontist, and three of the four teach in the graduate endodontics program at UBC.

Honest answers, no jargon. Anything else, call us.
Modern root canal treatment is done under local anaesthetic and most patients say it feels like having a filling. The goal of the appointment is to take pain away, not cause it. Soreness for a day or two afterwards is normal and manageable.
Endodontists do only root canals and related procedures, thousands of them, with microscopes and 3D imaging. Dentists refer complex or painful cases to us for that reason, and you return to your dentist afterwards for the crown or filling.
Nothing works as well as your own tooth. Extraction means an implant or bridge later, usually at greater cost and time. Saving the tooth is almost always the better long-term choice.
No. Most patients are referred, but you can call either office directly. Bring any recent x-rays if you have them.
Most treatments are completed in a single visit of about 60 to 90 minutes. Retreatments and surgical cases may take two.
Fees follow the BC Dental Association specialist fee guide and most dental plans cover endodontic treatment. We provide a written estimate before starting and can submit to your insurer for you.
Call the office closest to you, or ask your dentist to send a referral online. We will take it from there.
